People in Pueblo West could face water bill increase

Water bills in Pueblo West could go up as early as next month.

The district board is discussing a two percent increase.

That could add $7 to $21 per year on the average water bill.

The district wants the increase in order to improve water storage and infrastructure, along with planning what to do with hundreds of acres of land.

You can give your opinion at a public meeting Tuesday at the Pueblo West Administration Building at 6 p.m.
