Sketch released of unidentified 1981 murder victim

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is hoping someone will recognize the man in a sketch that it released Thursday.

The sketch is of an unidentified man who was found stabbed to death in 1981. His body was found in a campground near Caon City.

Detectives are following up on new leads in this cold case, which was reopened in August.

It is believed that the victim was well known in Pueblo.
