Police investigate multiple acts of vehicle vandalism

Colorado Springs police are investigating several acts of vehicle vandalism on the west side of the city.

At least eight cars were vandalized along Pikes Peak Avenue overnight. Police think a BB gun or a pellet gun was used.

“I got in my car to go to the gym at like 5:45 a.m., and I heard some rustling noise in the back, and I turned around and looked and the whole back window was completely smashed out,” Kayte Hennick said.

Her fiance’s car, parked right in front of hers was also damaged. Its windshield was cracked, and the night before, the mirror mirror was busted.

“Right now, (the cars) are undrivable, to say the least,” Max Moore said. “So it’s annoying to say the least.
