Attack caught on camera

the search for an attacker. the victim’s recovering at a hospital.. after he was beaten repeatedly in the middle of a pueblo street.. police found him unconscious. it was all caught on surveillance cameras… and tonight.. krdo newschannel 13’s greg miller has the footage that may help police crack the case. an attack so brazen, it woke up neighbors, like samantha dedmon. sot:my dog was barking and i figured it was just kids, i looked out the door there was an ambulance, the fire department. instead of hurt neighbor – she saw this man, lying in the middle of the street after police say he spent the night at the bar. 18:37 radio call – engine 7, assault with injury. near rutgers avenue and university circle. when police arrived to the 100 block of university circle, the surveillance video shows a honda anda ford pickup stopped at the intersection. the car takes off… and the driver of the pickup… repeatedly beats the man and then robs him. sot: that’s right up the street. standup:the camera that caught the entire incident happening right in the middle of this street, was part of the home surveillance system. the homeowner didn’t want to go on camera but said they contacted police as soon as they realized something was wrong. sot: he did suffer some serious injuries, so when we can identify the person responsible for this, it’s going to help the case out. eventually police say that homeowner called them, and he the driver took off. we don’t believe there’s an active threat to the community from this incident. though many don’t feel reassured… sot:worry alot, it does. especially with everything going on in town, it’s scary. in a quiet neighborhood now shaken. in pueblo, greg miller, krdo newschannel 13. and if you have any information on the case… you’re asked to call pueblo crime-stoppers at 542-stop.
