Home damaged by west Springs fire
For a second time Wednesday, Colorado Springs firefighters battled flames on the west side of the city.
The fire department said the afternoon fire burned in the 2400 block of Launcelot Court, which is near King Street and 25th Street.
One home was damaged by the fire. The house was evacuated. No one was hurt.
Earlier today, a grass fire threatened structures near 19th Street and Uintah Street. Firefighters suspect arson in that case. No suspect information is available.
Firefighters have not confirmed whether the fires are related.
