Flight to Colorado diverted after threat

CNN reports that Canadian authorities have detained a suspect this morning after a Denver-bound United Airlines flight was diverted from Alaska. Authorities say they found a “threatening message” on the plane.

United Airlines website says crew members found the message on the flight that left Anchorage, Alaska at 11:39 p.m. Friday night. A United Airlines spokesperson told CNN that the crew decided to divert the flight after they found a threatening message from one of the passengers. The wouldn’t specify exactly what the threat was.

The plane landed at Vancouver International Airport in Canada around 4:16 a.m. and authorities tweeted that they have a suspect in custody.
