Seven accused of running Colorado child sex trafficking ring

A 59-count indictment accuses seven people of being involved in a child sex trafficking ring in the Denver area.

Accused are Brandon Harrison, Donye Johnson, Michelle Payne, Brock Franklin, Isis Debreaux, Charles Johnson and David Fullenwiley Jones.

The indictment accuses Brock Franklin of being the ringleader.

KMGH reports that according to the indictment, Franklin used Facebook to recruit girls. It says the group used backpage.com to advertise them for sex.

KDVR reports that allegations listed in the indictment against members of the ring include pimping the girls, giving them drugs and alcohol, beating them and sexually assaulting them.

The indictment says the alleged crimes started in 2014 and continued through this past summer.

The indictment was filed November 6, but it wasn’t made public until Tuesday.
