Driver killed in Peterson AFB crash identified
Colorado Springs police have released the name of the driver who died in a crash at the north gate of Peterson Air Force Base Sunday morning.
Eric Morgan, 47, of Colorado Springs did not work at the base. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash that killed Morgan happened at around 2:30 a.m. on December 27, 2015.
Police say Morgan rolled his car. Morgan’s car was the only vehicle involved and he didn’t have any passengers.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
