Epic Christmas Snow

When the snow is good in Colorado, people know what to do.

This Christmas holiday, a lot of Colorado Springs residents are looking forward to staying put. But for many, their minds are in the mountains.

So far this season, there has been no shortage of powder.

And, with another one to two feet forecasted this weekend, it’s no wonder that people are anxious to get up there.

Those who have been say that it’s worth the trek. David Wilstid told us about his adventures:

“I was at Vail, and snowed eleven or twelve inches. Epic conditions. It was really, really nice”.

At the Ski Shop in Colorado Springs, business was brisk today. Rick Uhl was one stoked ski shop owner. He told us that, “Business always reflects what Mother Nature puts in the mountains, and yes, business is good right now”.

Wyatt Geibig had some great advice for would be travelers:

“Grab some friends, grab some family, drive safely, eat a lot of good food, stay warm, stay hydrated and enjoy yourselves”.

Safe travels, and have fun if you decide to head up and “slay the pow”.
