Plane crashes into snowplow at Telluride Airport
A small plane landing at the Telluride Airport crashed into a snowplow Wednesday.
The San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office said seven people were on board. No one was injured.
The twin-engine aircraft tried to land at the airport around 2:15 p.m. As it landed, it hit a snowplow on a closed runway, deputies said.
Crews were conducting snow maintenance at the time. Deputies said the pilot did not receive radio communication.
The National Transportation Safety Administration is investigating.
