Broncos’ Osweiler to remain starter while Manning continues recovery

The Denver Broncos announced Wednesday that Brock Osweiler will remain the team’s starting quarterback while Peyton Manning continues to rehab from a torn plantar fascia.

Manning is not expected to practice Wednesday or be active this week as he continues to focus on recovering.

The team says that head coach Gary Kubiak made the decision after talking with Manning this week.

Osweiler and the Broncos will play the Bengals Monday night.
