Man steals tip jar containing less than what meal cost

There are fewer quarters and dollars bills in that packed-in tip jar than you thought.

Or at least that’s what happened to a tip jar thief in New Zealand, who packed a restaurant’s jar in his bag after paying for a meal, reports UPI.com.

Turns out, the jar contained $6.77 and his meal cost $9.82. Oh and he forgot to take the food.

The restaurant’s owner said the suspect fled as he was reviewing security footage of the incident.

He told Stuff.co.nz that the theft was “not good karma for the poor bloke.”
