Avalanche closes Monarch Pass
Colorado State Patrol says Highway 50 is closed in both directions over Monarch Pass because of an avalanche.
Monarch Pass is located about 120 miles west of Pueblo.
It’s unknown if anyone was injured in the avalanche.
Avalanche Warnings and Advisories have been issued for much of Colorado’s high country because of the dangerous winter conditions.
