Alcohol a factor in car versus semi crash
Colorado Springs Police say that alcohol might be the cause of a traffic accident that happened early this morning.
It was a Yukon car versus a semi truck on southbound Powers boulevard and Fountain boulevard around 1:20 a.m. Saturday.
The accident shut down southbound lanes of Powers for about an hour.
The driver of the Yukon was taken to memorial hospital for injuries, but they are not life threatening. The driver of the semi truck is okay.
Police are still investigating exactly what happened.
