Man offers ‘elf on shelf’ services in Craigslist ad

Looking to host an offbeat holiday party in the Boston area? Or maybe want to potentially ruin a friend’s attempt at a classy holiday dinner?

Look no further than “Elf on a Shelf,” a Craigslist ad posted by one man who says he will “come to your holiday party…and sit in any location you assign me while I stare emptily at your guests for the duration of the event.”

The price tag? Merely a cool $100.

In the ad, the man claims his services have been in “high demand” this holiday season, and that he needs a 48 hours advance notice.

The post is signed, “whatever you want my name to be.”
