2 suspects arrested in connection to 3 armed robberies in Colorado Springs

Two men have been arrested in connection to a string of armed robberies in Colorado Springs.

Three robberies happened within a half-mile radius near Palmer Park in the first week of December.

On Dec. 1, a man with a handgun robbed two men in an apartment complex in the 3600 block of Knoll Lane, police said.

According to police, another man was robbed about an hour later in the 3500 block of American Drive.

On Dec. 7, two men robbed a woman at gunpoint in the 3400 block of Queen Anne Way, police said. She was shot in the arm when she tried to resist, and suffered a broken arm.

Investigators were able to develop leads over the next few days, and arrested Barry Good, 19, and Manuel Jordan-Griffin, 19, on Wednesday in connection to the robbery cases. According to police, both suspects are originally from South Carolina.

Good faces Attempted Murder charges in the case in which a woman was shot. Jordan-Griffin faces charges of Attempted Aggravated Robbery.

More charges are possible as the investigation continues.
