Police suspect marijuana grow targeted in Caon City home invasion

Caon City Police say they are looking for three men who broke into a home and stole marijuana, including one who may have been shot.

The home invasion was reported at 9:41 p.m. on December 15, 2015 at a home in the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police say three men wearing masks forced their way into the home and held the victims at gunpoint. They say there was a struggle for one of the robber’s guns and shots were fired.

All three robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of marijuana from a grow at the home.

Police say they think one of the robber’s was shot during the struggle for the gun.
