Pueblo twins make quilts for senior citizens

10 year old twins in Pueblo are making gifts for senior citizens.

Jack Montoya and Khylie Montoya were originally going to be singing carols with their classmates at retirement homes in Pueblo, but they wanted to do more.

They decided to make quilts for senior citizens.

So far, the twins have made more than 50 quilts.

They said they just wanted to give gifts to people.

“They don’t get that many visitors and we want to make them happy,” Khylie said.

The twins are giving the quilts to senior citizens at Horizon Heights next Thursday.
