Keeping your holiday packages safe

It’s another warning for you tonight regarding your holiday packages.

Saturday evening, Dan Hayman’s security cameras caught someone walking off with a package while he wasn’t home.

Hayman has a home business and sees a lot of packages come and go, but he told us he hasn’t had any other problems with this type of crime.

He has some advice for you if you’re getting those home deliveries this season.

“Tell the post office (to) have it insured and if anything have a signature confirmation,” he said.

Hayman has filed a report with Colorado Springs Police.

He told us that his package did show back up – although it had been opened by the thief.
