Secured perimeter at Pueblo South High School lifted

D-60 says Pueblo South High School was placed on secured perimeter status as a precaution Thursday morning because of nearby police activity.

Secured perimeter means that visitors are not allowed in or out. Students may come and go, but extra precautions are taken.

The secured perimeter status began at 9:40 a.m. and ended at around 10:50 a.m.

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office and US Marshals were looking for a fugitive in the area, but he wasn’t found.

The fugitive’s name was not released.
