Crisis center opens to assist those impacted by shooting
A community crisis recover center opened Nov. 29, 2015, in order to provide relief and support for anyone affected by the Black Friday Shooting that happened on Friday.
The center is offering several resources and referral services to people who were in the immediate area at the time of the shooting, including families who had loved ones in the area and business owners who had employees in the area.
Agencies will provide information about the criminal justice system and support to understand the trauma people might be experiencing.
The center is opening at Mortgage Solutions Financial Center at 3650 N. Nevada, Colorado Springs, CO, 80907. The center will be open from Nov. 29, 2015 until Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Spanish-speaking people are encouraged to come, as there will be an interpreter.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Un Centro de Recuperacin para la Comunidad en Crisis abre hoy, domingo, 29 de noviembre, para ayudar a las personas directamente afectadas por el tiroteo en el bulevar Centennial que ocurri el 27 de noviembre en la interseccin del Bulevar Centennial y la avenida Fillmore.
El centro ofrecer recursos y servicios de referencia para personas que estuvieron en la zona inmediata durante el tiroteo y sus familias, dueos de negocios en la zona, y personas que viven en la zona, quienes podran necesitar ayuda para recuperarse del incidente. Habr personal de apoyo de varias agencias locales para proveer informacin sobre la variedad de recursos disponibles, incluyendo informacin sobre el sistema criminal de justicia, y apoyo para entender el trauma que podran estar sintiendo. Habr un intrprete que habla espaol.
