Attempted homicide suspect in custody, say police

Two Pueblo men are in custody after police say they were seen exiting a home in the 4000 block of O’Neal Avenue early Sunday morning.

Ray Bachicha, 21, was caught by responding officers at the scene.

Daniel Dedmon, 19, was arrested after a short foot chase that ended in the 2200 block of Norman Lane. Investigators say he dropped a handgun during the pursuit, which was later recovered by police.

Deadmon is currently being held in the Pueblo County Detention Center on a no bond warrant for attempted first degree murder.

Bachicha was arrested on a combined $3500 warrant for failure to appear on charges of careless driving and failure to comply on motor vehicle theft charges.
