Drivers dealing with icy road conditions in parts of southern Colorado

Drivers dealt with low temperatures and icy road conditions in parts of southern Colorado Thursday.

“I think it’s great! It’s the start of the holiday season, everybody needs a little bit of snow for Christmas, so why not Thanksgiving,” Elijah Murphy said.

“It’s beautiful, but it’s freezing, it’s freezing cold,” Jamey Soden said.

There were slick spots between Colorado Springs and Woodland Park on Highway 24. Drivers are advised to take extra time to get to their destination.
