Pueblo West firefighters quickly stop two-alarm garage fire

Firefighters quickly stopped a garage fire in Pueblo West Wednesday night.

Crews said it happened in the 500 block of Watermelon Drive, west of South McCulloch Boulevard around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters said the homeowner stained wood recently and put rags in a trash bag. Spontaneous combustion caused the rags to start on fire.

No one was home at the time and no one was injured.
