Pueblo Police: Man wanted in connection to deadly shooting may be getting treatment for gunshot wound

The Pueblo Police Department is looking for a man who is wanted for attempted first degree murder.

Daniel Dedmon, 19, is wanted in connection to a November 15th fight that escalated into a shooting.

The crime happened at the 7-Eleven at the intersection of Orman Avenue and Northern Avenue.

Police say Dedmon is believed to have been the passenger in the vehicle that fled west on Northern Ave. and crashed moments later. The driver, Daniel Sanchez, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene. Dedmon fled the scene leaving a blood trail, but he was never located.

Police say Dedmon was likely shot and may be receiving treatment from an individual with nursing skills.

A no bond attempted first degree murder arrest warrant has been issued for Dedmon.
