Pueblo Salvation Army needs bell ringers

The Salvation Army in Pueblo County needs your help filling an important role.

The group is looking for at least 100 bell ringers for the holiday season.

This is for the annual Red Kettle Campaign.

The Salvation Army said the money goes toward it’s programs it does for those in need.

“Our community has a lot of needs, there is a lot of people struggling right now. They are struggling to pay their rent, utilities, food and basic necessities of life,” program director Rose Mertz said.

The Pueblo County Salvation Army made more than $100,000 last year from the campaign.
