Structure severely damaged in Fountain house fire
Fountain Fire Department responded to an explosion and fire in Fountain. The call came in just before 8 Friday night.
Fountain Fire Department is continuing to investigate the cause but believe propane tanks inside the structure caught on fire and caused the explosion.
No one was injured. A structure attached to a home was severely damaged.
“The whole side is totally burned out. The contents on one side of the storage unit is totally destroyed,” said Fountain Fire Chief Darin Anstine.
Fifteen firefighters responded to the scene. The fire was put out just before 10 p.m.
