Letter warns parents of security issues at Caon City Middle School

People online may be trying to get information about security at Caon City Middle School, according to a letter sent to parents Thursday.

The letter from Superintendent George Welsh said students are receiving requests for information such as how many students are at the school and does the school have security.

The letter reminds parents to remind their children not to respond to any email, text or other requests from strangers online.

Students are being told to report any similar request to school administrators or a trusted adult immediately.

Any parents with concerns or questions can call the superintendent at 719-276-5705.
