Paris tribute on the incline
syrian-led political transition, and efforts for a multi-nation fight against is. that’s a change from previous white house charges – that putin was targeting opponents of assad, rather than isis. they say a picture is worth a thousand words. and two people in southern colorado hope their picture can be worth more than that krdo newschannel 13’s carl winder shows us their tribute to the people affected by terrorist attacks in paris. it’s new for you at five… :07 :29 :52 sam chambers says he enjoys exercising on the arkansas riverwalk. sot: one mile a day five times a week everyday at lunch i make at least one lap stand up: the riverwalk is full of tributes from the veterans bridge to the 9/11 memorial and recently chambers had a chance to make another tribute in southern colorado. with the most recent tragedy hitting paris leaving more than 130 people dead from the terrorist attacks, chambers and photograph er dan o’sullivan wanted to send a message to those affected. sot: this is one of the few things i could do locally with my skill set and talents to try and express some of the condolances to victims in the terrorist attacks sot: there is not a lot i can do for the people of france living down here in pueblo but i can do that chambers was part of o’sullvian’s vision to honor the ones who lost their lives in the paris terrorist attacks…. and hiked up the incline to illuminate it with red, white and blue lights… represnetin g the french flag. from almost two miles away… o’sullivan snapped the picture. sot: this is basically part of the global response to indicate thoughts and prayers and just the emotions with those around the world. sot: there is they hope it’s a project that will be seen around the world … and show that southern colorado will never forget paris.
