Nighttime lane closures on I-25 south of Colorado Springs tonight

The Colorado Department of Transportation says work on the Highway 85 bridge over I-25 will impact traffic on the interstate tonight.

I-25 will be down to one lane in each direction between the S. Academy Blvd. interchange and the Lake Avenue/Circle Drive interchange between 8 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.

Drivers should anticipate slower speeds and watch for flaggers directing traffic through the cone zone.

An identical closure is planned for Sunday night.
