Southern Colorado is preparing for snow

With winter weather on the way, people in our area are getting ready.

At Circle ACE Hardware in Colorado Springs, they’re stocked with snow equipment both outside and inside.

From shovels to scrapers to salt, customers are scooping up the snow removal equipment.

Employees at the store say the first winter storm brings out customers in droves.

Tim Sailor of Circle ACE Hardware said, “You’re going to sell quite a few through January, February too but that first couple of months is usually your biggest blast. Everybody wants to have it when it starts.”

Sailor says that the newer types of snow melt are safer for pets, and those types of melts are their most popular sellers.
