Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes arrested

Colorado Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes was arrested and accused of assaulting his wife on Halloween, according to Hawaii News Now.

Investigators said Reyes and his wife Katherine, were arguing in their Maui hotel room that afternoon.

His wife told officers Reyes grabbed her off the bed and shoved her. She also told police she had injuries to her thigh, neck and wrist. She was taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center.

Reyes was traded to the Rockies in July for star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki.
