Deputies say stolen items, drugs recovered in Pueblo West theft investigation

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says a report of a stolen motorcycle led investigators to something much bigger.

Police say two stolen motorcycles, stolen credit cards and stolen checks were found in a home in the 100 block of E. Cellini Dr.

Deputies obtained a warrant to search the home after pulling over a truck that was carrying a motorcycle that deputies believe was stolen.

The truck was also searched and police say crystal meth was found inside.

Brian Comstock, 39, was arrested on an unrelated warrant and issued a summons for theft.

Reece Davis, 26, was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order. Deputies say he also faces charges for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute and theft.

“As we identify more items, the investigation division will be contacting victims to identify and reclaim their property,” said Sheriff Kirk Taylor. “We now have a serial number form available for download on our website. We are asking citizens to write down the serial numbers of their equipment, electronics and other valuable items in order to help us identify them if they are ever lost or stolen,” Taylor said.
