Ski resort offers opening day freebies in recognition of Veterans Day

Copper Mountain will open the season on Veterans Day, and it’s offering a sweet deal for members of the military and their dependents.

Specifically, the resort says that it is offering free skiing and riding on Wednesday November 11 to all active or retired military and their dependents. The offer includes all active duty, reserve, National Guard and retired military. Qualified dependents include children and spouses.

All military and their dependents must show valid ID at the ticket window at time of purchase.
