Denver Lyft driver suspended after spraying customer with pepper spray
A Denver Lyft driver has been suspended after a video shows him spraying a passenger with pepper spray on Halloween.
The driver ordered two passengers out of the car because one was carrying a beer can.
The video shows the passenger threatened to assault the driver, so the Lyft driver sprayed the man in the face.
But other Lyft drivers say that driver could have defused the situation.
“I would say that that situation could have been avoided was predominantly the drivers fault,” a driver said.
Lyft is not letting the driver work while they investigate the situation.
The company has a no-weapons policy for their driver.. which includes pepper spray.
