UPDATE: Missing service dog in Pueblo returned

A Pueblo man’s missing service dog is back home.

Tino Cote said his dog was returned to him Wednesday night by the same people who stole the dog.

Cote says the golden retriever named Dodge was stolen from his yard on Sunday at the trailer park on the 1600 block of Constitution Road on Pueblo’s East Side.

Dodge has been Cote’s service dog for four years and Cote said he is trained to stay on his property.

Cote uses a service dog because of seizures.

“The closest thing I have ever had to a kid. I love him more than I love anything,” he said.
