T-Shirt pulled from Fort Carson exchange post

the ui-s reportedly intercepted communications.. showing is planted an explosive on the plane. all 224 people on board were killed. a controversial t-shirt is off the shelves tonight at a store on fort carson. a customer at the shop complained about this shirt which features the statue of liberty, covered in a birqua, with the phrase – don’t let this happen america. when the shop received the complaint, the manager immediately removed it. krdo newschannel 13’s greg miller is live at fort carson tonight… finding out how the shirt got on the shelves in the first place? james, the vendor that created the shirt added them into an already filed order on sunday. monday morning, the shop opened… and actions were taken as soon as they heard a complaint. the t-shirt was promptly removed. that response from post exchange general manager patricia austin. who admits this shirt – s hould never have been for sale at the exchange mall. all of our venders go through a process where we inspect the items. this was a new vendor, and that t-shirt was not part of the inspection. that’s because rules are in place on base shops not to sell merchandise with political or religious messages. but the photo leaked to the internet after the military religious freedom foundation received complaints – the foundation calling the shirt despicable. sot: she immediately removed the item, she was very happy to do so, she had no reason to offend anybody. greg: that vendor which produced those tshirts never returned our request for interview. though the local islamic community says they’re grateful for the fast military response. arshad yousufi some people like to make money off those prejudices. arshad yousufi is with the islamic center of colorado springs. he calls the shirt a cheap shot…he still has faith in what’s good. the great majority still has a good sense of right and wrong and what’s moral and immoral. considering this… an isolated incident.
