Colorado senator announces support for Marco Rubio
Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colorado) officially announced his endorsement Monday for Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio.
In a tweet from Gardner’s Twitter account, he wrote he’s proud to support “a new generation of leadership.”
The endorsement comes on the heels of the third GOP debate in which Rubio made a strong performance.
Gardner released a statement to KRDO NewsChannel 13, saying, “Today I am proud to announce my endorsement of Marco Rubio to be the next President of the United States. Our country needs a new generation of leadership, and I believe that Marco Rubio presents this nation with the greatest possibilities and opportunities to meet the challenges of the next generation.”
