Danger for black cats?

shelter in pueblo says black cats are in danger during the halloween season. paws for life says it has a policy not to adopt out black cats from mid- october to the first week of november. the shelter’s manager says she chooses this time of the year because she rather be safe than sorry. all hallows eve is the time for sacrifice and black cats seem to be one of the top things that people want to do their practices and rituals with the shelter also
