Watch, Listen and Win Rules for KRDO NewsChannel 13 and KRDO NewsRadio.
1) This contest is also governed by the Pikes Peak Television/Pikes Peak Radio Official Contest Rules.
2) Dates of Contest: Thursday, October 29, 2015 through Friday, November 27, 2015.
3) Prize: Round trip airfare for two from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Nashville, Tennessee and return. Three nights lodging at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. $500 dollars for rental car, meals and incidentals, and a meeting with national radio talk show host Dave Ramsey at his broadcast facility near Nashville, Tennessee. Winner and guest MUST travel to Nashville on March 20, 2016 and return on March 23, 2016.
4) In the event the winner is not able to travel on dates listed in #3, and declines prize, $1,000 will be paid as a consolation prize, and no other payment or prize will be awarded. Winner is responsible for a federal and state taxes.
5) For Watch, Listen and Win, rule F. II. in official contest rules is waived and participants may have won another prize within 30 days and still participate in Watch, Listen, and Win. Each person is able to qualify one time during contest period.
6) How to enter: In order to participate in contest, contestant must watch the 10 p.m. newscast on KRDO NewsChannel 13, Sunday – Thursday during the contest period. Three pets and their names will be shown on KRDO NewsChannel 13. The following morning Monday – Friday during the contest period, KRDO NewsRadio will invite listeners to call 719-473-1240. The approximate time will be 7:50 a.m. each day. Caller 5 will be placed on the air and asked to identify their favorite pet by name from the previous day on KRDO NewsChannel 13’s 10 p.m. news. As long as one of the three pets is correctly identified that person is qualified to win the Watch, Listen and Win prize. Each qualifier will receive a $25 gift certificate to Momma Pearl’s Cajun Kitchen and $25 gift certificate to Louie’s Pizza.
7) Pets being shown on KRDO NewsChannel 13 are part of a social media, the Cutest Pets Contest, presented by KRDO NewsChannel 13, and is sponsored by Heuberger Subaru on behalf of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. The prizes for Watch, Listen, and Win contest are separate from the Cutest Pets Contest. Winners of The Watch, Listen and Win Contest will not qualify for the Cutest Pet Contest.
8) On Friday, November 27, 2015 a random drawing will be held from all qualifiers. The person drawn is the winner of Watch, Listen and Win.
