Two arrests made in Pueblo County thefts

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says two people have been arrested and nearly $150,000 worth of stolen property has been recovered.

Brandon Romero, 30, and Jose Rodriguez, 21, are facing theft charges.

The following items and vehicles have been recovered:

2002 Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up valued at $25,000.00
2011 Chevrolet Duramax 3500 pick-up valued at $27,000.00 2008 Caterpillar Skid Loader and attachments, a flatbed trailer, an 18′ enclosed cargo trailer, 7000 watt Honda generator, welder- generator, assorted construction equipment valued at approximately $95,000.00
A second flatbed trailer valued at approximately $2,500

The estimated value of the recovered property is $149,500.00.

The investigation began on October 14 when the first theft was reported.
