UPDATE: Westminster boy found safe, Amber Alert cancelled

An Amber Alert issued for a boy in the Denver area has been cancelled.

Westminster police say Austin Rasnic, 10, was found safe and unharmed Monday night at a home in Wheat Ridge.

Police have arrested his mother, Tiffany Rasnic, 31, and an unidentified man. Charges are being determined at this time.

Police say Austin was riding home from school with a relative when their car stopped at a red light at 80th Ave. and Lowell Blvd. That’s when, according to police, another car pulled up behind them and an older man wearing a tan suit approached the driver of Austin’s car. The man flashed some type of badge or ID and told the relative that they would be arrested if they did not give up Austin. Austin’s mother, Tiffany Rasnic, then approached the passenger side and forcibly removed Austin from the car, police said.
