2015 hero dog back in the national spotlight

A Colorado dog that is on a mission to raise awareness about puppy mills is on the road again.

Harley’s latest gig? An appearance on The Today Show. It comes on the heels of his meeting on Capitol Hill last week.

Harley is the American Humane Association’s 2015 hero dog. He lives in Berthoud and supports National Mill Dog Rescue, which is based in Peyton.

Harley spent 10 years in a puppy mill before being adopted by Rudi Taylor.
