Biden still undecided about presidential run
Vice President Joe Biden is still undecided Tuesday night about whether to jump into the race for the Democratic nomination for president in 2016.
KRDO political analyst UCCS professor Josh Dunn contends Biden must make a decision quickly if he wants to challenge Hillary Clinton and others in the primary because of filing deadlines in a handful of states. Dunn believes Biden would be the toughest opponent for Clinton if he mounts a campaign.
“He has a very good chance of winning the nomination and defeating Hillary Clinton,” Dunn said. “She makes a lot of mistakes, she’s not very good on the campaign trail. Joe Biden seems to be well liked by the Democratic base and he’s the candidate who would most carry on the Obama legacy.”
Earlier this week, aides for the vice president began interviewing staffers in key primary states for a potential run.
