Overnight shooting: Gunshot victim suffers broken leg
An overnight shooting in Colorado Springs left one man with a broken leg, according to police. Officers say the victim is now recovering in the hospital.
The incident happened Saturday night, near St. Vrain and North Weber streets.
The gunshot victim told police that he was on his porch to meet a friend when a man approached him and began shooting.
Police say the victim was struck in the leg, the bullet broke the bone.
Officer would not give KRDO any other details. There is no word on a suspect.
The Major Crimes Unit is now investigating.
