Colorado Springs “Pro Police Rally” draws crowd
Dozens gathered to send a message to the public on Sunday afternoon.
A “Pro Police Rally” in Acacia Park featured a live band and several speakers. The purpose of the rally was to honor Colorado law enforcement.
“These men and women, they do leave their houses, they leave their families every single day. They do get up in front of our chaos not only to protect us from anything on the outside, sometimes they have to protect us from each other, sometimes they have to protect us from ourselves, either way they’ve gotta stand up for us,” explained Ron Maclachlan, organizer.
Maclachlan said he is planning another rally for February, and his overall goal is to have an event every few months in Colorado.
