Widow of American Sniper speaks to sold-out crowd

Taya Kyle, widow of American Sniper, Chris Kyle, spoke to a sold-out crowd at the Broadmoor Friday night.

Chris Kyle was killed in 2013.

Now, it is Taya Kyle’s mission to keep her husband’s legacy alive.

“When you lose somebody you love, you have to ride it out. There’s a lot of damage that doesn’t have to happen if you let people deal with it in their own way,” said Kyle.

Kyle said her husband taught her what it meant to have the heart of a warrior.
