Pueblo County Natural Hazard Mitigation Community Meeting

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Services Bureau and local area partners are currently in the process of writing a Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan for Pueblo County. A community meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, in the Emergency Services Center (101 W. 10th St.).

The purpose of the Hazard Mitigation Plan is to identify ways to reduce or eliminate the long-term risk to people and property from the effects of hazards.

Parkview Medical Center flu shot clinic

Parkview is hosting a community flu shot clinic on Tuesday, from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., at the Pueblo Mall (3429 Dillon Dr.).

Vaccines will be available for those 3 years and older. The flu shot will only cost $20 which can be paid by cash, check or credit card and those applicable can use their Medicare part B to pay for the flu shot.

Broncos to host Drive for Life 18

The Broncos will host Drive for Life 18, Bonfils Blood Center’s annual Denver Broncos Community Blood Drive, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Parking is free and available on the west side of the stadium in Lots C and J. Donors should enter the stadium through Gate 2, which is also located on the west side of the stadium. Click here for full details.
