ICYMI: Aspiring ‘quarterbuck’ crashes high school football game

An uninvited guest put on a show for high school football fans in Manitou Springs Friday night.

KRDO NewsChannel 13 viewer Heather Adamscheck shared video on the KRDO NewsChannel 13 Facebook page of a buck that ran onto the football field during Manitou’s homecoming game.

The animal, apparently disoriented by the bright lights and noise, came close to the stands and paused briefly to gather its bearings before running off.

StormTracker 13 Chief Meteorologist Rachael Plath described the video this way: “Looks like somebody is trying out for a spot on the Manitou Springs Mustangs Football team! Perhaps for quarterbuck? … See what I did there?? ”

Ha!… Quarterbuck.
