People splatter each other for a good cause
Two groups in Pueblo wanted to support breast cancer awareness in their own way.
DMC and Covert Ops paintball groups teamed up to have the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Paintball Game.
Organizer Angela Mueller said the event was started after her mother beat breast cancer.
“Everybody has somebody that is touched by breast cancer,” she said.
That’s why she started the event so she can help with the fight.
“The money is going to the Memorial Hospital Foundation dedicated directly towards wigs,” Mueller said.
More than 200 people showed up for the event.
“It’s a good cause keeping our women healthy,” John Reed said. He traveled from Aurora to be part of the event.
The game made more than $2,000.
